The site shows ‘Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance’ long after an update should have finished. An interrupted update can leave the maintenance marker behind, but the interrupted component may still be incomplete.
Reproduce the failure, create a safe test copy and isolate incompatible plugins without experimenting on customers. Document the conflicting versions and regression test the business journey that originally failed.
